Malorie began her career in the medical field in 2010 upon her graduation from the medical assistant program at Virginia College at Austin. With her MA certification, Malorie went on to work in family practice for Dr. Lo at Quick Care Medical Center in Petoskey, MI. After over 4 years in this position she decided to expand her interest into skin care, focusing on medical spa treatments.
In pursuit of advancing her career in the skin care field, Malorie attended Douglas J Aveda Institute in Grand Rapids, MI in 2016. Malorie was a member of the first graduating esthetics class from this Douglas J Institute location in 2017. Malorie has been a licensed esthetician since 2017 and became a certified laser technician in late 2019. Malorie continues to actively seek trainings and certifications in the esthetics and medical spa field, expanding her experience regularly.
In April of 2019, Malorie joined Dr. Rashmi Juneja, M.D., in her venture to offer medical spa treatments to the Grand Rapids area. While working full time serving libations at the Crown Plaza and expecting her 3rd son, she worked tirelessly to help make this dream a reality. Malorie and Dr. Juneja, M.D., officially opened the Welltopix Medical Spa in March 2020 after many months of planning, preparing and training.
Malorie specializes in chemical peels, microneedling, body contouring, laser hair removal, laser genesis, intense pulsed light (IPL) and spider vein therapy. She also offers regular spa services such as facials and waxing. Malorie is continually researching and introducing new products and treatments that will assist her clients in meeting their skin care needs.
Malorie is passionate about making people feel beautiful in their own skin and is at your service to assist you in your skin care goals. Malorie has been known to say, “You’re top shelf, treat yourself like it.”
“My favorite part of esthetics is seeing my patients smile after they see their results. I have always been unhappy with my skin, so I can relate to other people when they find a flaw that can be corrected. I wanted to work with products and machines that resolved in results, not just something that makes someone feel good for that day only.”
